Beach and Moody (not me this time!) Gardens

This past weekend Chris, Athena (our pup), Rylynn, Jenn and I all packed up and drove down to meet Mama Love in Free Port. It was our last vaction before the baby comes. Let me just start off by telling you the assigned seating in the truck. Well you have Chris who was driving, Athena (did I mention she is our dog) who had the entire front seat to herself, Rylynn in the middle of the back seat with her cozy car seat, and Jenn and I on both sides. Oh I can't forget that Rylynn's car seat was leaning on me the entire ride. So as you can imagine the ride was a little long, but now looking back it was absolutly halarious. I have to say that this weekend was probably one of the best weekends I have had in a while...because it was so relaxing. We went to the beach a few times, but honestly the best part was sitting out on the back patio just telling stories and cuttin up. This was Athena's first trip to the beach, and she was so much fun to watch. She went crazy...in fact I believe Chris had to save her one time because she almost went out too far. LOL. She didn't really understand that you can't drink the salt water, so there was a little up set stomach that came along with all that fun. On Saturday we went into Galveston and went to a place called Moody Gardens. It was probably the coolest place I have been to in a while, they had everything there. Our day consisted of an aquarium, Titanic artifacts, Imax movie, and the jungle...and you can't forget dippin dots. All in all I had a blast and can't wait until our first vacation with the baby.

I am readying this a little late since I never check my yahoo. Didn't you like the Titanic artifacts? We went with my parents a while back and it was really neat but sooo sad. Glad you enjoyed your trip!
